Curious to learn more about mental health issues, what feelings and behaviors are considered normal for you or your friends? We have compiled a list of resources that can help. If you are looking for help, CMHO members have walk-in clinics across the province, often just 1-2 sessions at a walk-in clinic can a make a big difference for kids and youth who need a little help, click here to find the nearest clinic near you.

 

Kids Help Phone

The Kids Help Phone website offers Live Chats that connects you, one-on-one, with a Kids Help Phone counsellor on the web or from your smartphone. Click here to find out when Live Chat is open in your community. They also offer resources on a variety of topics including bullying, emotional health, LGBTQ, dating, family, and much more. Webbing With Wisdom

Webbing With Wisdom launched in January, 2017, and is a collaboration between three organizations: St. Stephen’s Community House, METRAC, and East Metro Youth Services. Their mission is to help girls and young women learn about and deal with online sexual violence.

Mood Disorders Association of Ontario

The Mood Disorders Association of Ontario offers free support groups and recovery programs to people across Ontario living with depression, anxiety or bipolar disorder.  Click here to find a group in your area.
